"People get such a kick out of it," said Riverfront Cruises Capt. Gary Bobrick, who has worked as a tour guide on the New River for more than 30 years. "With the economy what it is, and you tell people about a $200 million boat, well, they're flabbergasted when they hear that stuff. Still, every guide makes mention of homes now or formerly occupied by Burt Reynolds, Nick Nolte, Gloria Vanderbilt, car dealer Mike Maroone, hot dog impresario Oscar Mayer, Sen. Herb Kohl, the Wisconsin Democrat and heir to the Kohl's department store fortune, and members of the Anheuser-Busch family, makers of Budweiser. Full Fort Lauderdale Boat Tour article here!
